A home for the next generation

This much-loved family home in Caulfield needed some TLC for a new generation.

Hanson Building retained some of the home’s charming period features, including some great stained glass windows, but brought it into the 21st century.

The home’s rejuvenated entrance gave the existing wood panelling and stained glass windows a new look. Warm timber cabinetry provided clever storage in the hallway.

A master bedroom with ensuite and a second bathroom were revitalised. The old, dark kitchen was removed and the new kitchen relocated into the centre of the home creating a warm, light-filled family area with Calacatta marble benchtops and splashbacks.

New engineered French Oak flooring was laid throughout the home and a new lounge created with custom-designed cabinetry to suit the clients' tech needs.

Finally, the backyard was completely transformed with a built-in BBQ and outdoor heating.
