Given a lift

The clients engaged Hanson Building to build a lift-shaft and retrofit an elevator into the middle of their existing home in Malvern.

The lift allowed the clients to remain in their two-story home into their older years. It was crafted to integrate with the style of the home, including a stylish wallpapered lift-shaft.

At the same time, Hanson Building enhanced the home with a brand new kitchen including creating a new butler’s pantry. The kitchen included Corian benchtops with integrated sink, a glass splashback and glossy two-pack cabinetry. Two bathrooms and a powder room were updated, complete with granite benchtops and walk-in showers. Custom built-in cabinetry was added to the living area and a study nook was installed on the first floor landing.

The result was flawless finishes across this sophisticated home.
